Park and a Picnic

Ok as much as I hate to admit this, Florence is growing on me. We have made friends with a great family. They are transplants from the Raleigh area too. The Dad works with Sev. They have four of most well behaved children I have ever met. Today Jennifer and I took their 3 yr old twins and Anderson to the park to play and have a picnic. The kids had a blast!!
Jacob and Anderson share some guy talk!
The slide is fun with 3!!!!
We are ready to eat!

Painting Fun!!

Colin had President's day off from school, so we decided to get out of the house for some fun. We have a pottery painting shop near our house, so we went there. I was amazed at how much fun they both had painting! I had to drag them away to get lunch. Anderson can't wait to see his frog shinny. We told him they lady had to cook it in the oven. His response was "WHAT!!!!"

Marshmallows

Who knew that a simple toasted marshmallow could provide such pleasure! Anderson had the best time eating his marshmallow and getting all over himself! It was so cute, I had to share!

Anderson

Just a little update... Anderson is doing really well. He is eating and sleeping well. He still has some pain when he bends over but is otherwise normal. Thanks to everyone for all your concern and support! A big thanks to Gigy and Grumps who came and stayed with us. They were a huge help!!!

Anderson's Surgery

We are home now from Anderson's surgery. It feels like we have been gone for a week. He was so good. Not a single complaint all day. Pretty good for a 2 year old that we had to wake up at 4:30 am to sit and wait at the hospital for over 2 hours.

Swim Lessons

Colin has started taking swim lessons. Our new house has a pool so we feel very strongly that Colin should learn to swim well before the summer starts. Anderson will start lessons in the Spring. Colin loves to jump in and is getting pretty good at swiming in the deep end.

Our New House

We are finally getting settled in our new house in Florence. Most of the boxes are unpacked and it is starting to feel like our home. The list of things to do seems to grow everyday but we are thrilled to be out of our apartment. The kids love having space to play inside and outside. They are sleeping much better now that they are in their own rooms again!
